Jonathan Law Ngee Song was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 4 July 2013 and subsequently as the Non-Executive Chairman of AEP on 8 July 2022.
Mr. Law graduated from Australia National University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the High Court of Malaya in 1991. He is in legal practice and currently serves as a Partner at Messrs. Azmi & Associates, handling mergers and acquisitions and corporate practice. He was previously a Partner at Messrs. Nik Saghir & Ismail (1996 to 2019) and Allen & Gledhill (1991 to 1995).
Mr. Law is the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Evergreen Fibreboard Berhad, listed on Bursa Malaysia. He is also the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee of Evergreen Fibreboard Berhad. Additionally, he sits on the board of Pimpinan Ehsan Berhad as a Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director.
Marcus Chan Jau Chwen, Commissioner

Appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the Group on 10 August 2022, and redesignated as Executive Director (Corporate Affairs) effective 1 October 2024.
Mr. Chan oversees the Group's business transformation and leads its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. He is also responsible for corporate governance and stakeholder engagement, playing a key role in influencing the Group's strategic direction.
Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Business Administration from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He held various roles in audit, corporate advisory, business development and marketing in addition to his involvement in family and associated businesses.
Wong Tack Wee, Commissioner

Appointed as Group CEO of AEP Plantations Plc in 2024. He currently also serves as a Commissioner at PT AEP Nusantara Plantations since 2025.
With extensive experience in plantation management and financial leadership, Mr. Wong oversees the Group's overall strategic direction and operational performance. He brings deep expertise in financial management, corporate strategy, and plantation operations.
Mr. Wong is a qualified management accountant, having obtained his professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the United Kingdom in 1993. He previously served as Group Managing Director at Acapalm Plantation Services Sdn Bhd from 2016 to 2022 and as Group Chief Financial Officer at IOI Corporation Berhad from 2012 to 2016.
Lee Chee Khoon, Independent Commissioner

Mr. Lee Chee Khoon serves as an Independent Commissioner at PT AEP Nusantara Plantations since 2025 and concurrently holds a position as an Independent Non-Executive Director at AZRB Berhad since 2023.
He brings over two decades of extensive experience in investment banking and regional capital markets. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director, Regional Coverage (Southeast Asia) at CIMB Investment Bank (Malaysia) from 2017 to 2023, where he oversaw cross-border transactions and strategic advisory across the region.
Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney (1993) and a Master's in Banking and Finance from the University of Sheffield (1995), providing him with a strong academic foundation in finance, economics, and investment strategy.
Prawidha Murti, Independent Commissioner

Ms. Prawidha Murti serves as an Independent Commissioner, bringing extensive legal expertise and corporate governance experience. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prawidha & Co, a position she has held since 2025. She also serves as a Director and Company Secretary (Penanggung Jawab) at PT. Warriors Sports Cemerlang since 2023.
With over two decades of experience in top-tier law firms, she has a strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. She previously held partnership roles at prominent firms including Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung (in association with Herbert Smith Freehills) from 2022 to 2025, Ashurst (Oentoeng Suria & Partners) from 2017 to 2022, and Makes & Partners (Strategic Alliance with Wong Partnership) from 2016 to 2017. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Associate at Infinitum Lawyers (2010–2011) and an Associate at Lubis, Santosa & Maulana Law Offices (2003–2010).
Ms. Murti holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Universitas Indonesia (2000) and is a licensed advocate in Indonesia. Her deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and corporate legal practice contributes significantly to the Board's oversight and governance functions.
